Plugin: Render Message
-
Hello, I have developed a free plug-in for C4D. I need a plug-in serial number to share with other users. The name of the plug-in I developed is: Render Message. The function of this plug-in is to detect the rendering of the C4D image viewer and rendering queue. Progress, after the rendering is completed, a notification is sent to the mobile phone, so that the user can receive the notification after the rendering is completed in time. The plug-in has been developed locally and has been tested for a period of time. The experience is very good, so I applied for a plug-in serial number. Thank you to the official Staff, because I am a freelance designer, this is the first C4D plug-in I have developed. I don’t have any past works. You can check my behance related design links to prove that I am a loyal user of C4D. The link is: https://www.behance.net/IAMCC
Regarding the number of licenses, I only need one license. My email is: [email protected]
Name is: CC

Can anyone help me how I can get a maxon plug-in serial number?

@kmhfygg I must admit it isn't entirely clear what you are asking for. Since you have developed your plugin already, you are not asking for a licence for C4D itself. And since it's a free plugin, you don't need to licence it to other users.
I'm guessing that you need a plugin ID number, which makes your plugin unique and distinguished from all other plugins. To get that, go to the 'Support' menu at the top of the page, choose 'Plugin IDs' and follow the procedure to receive a new and unique ID number. You need to do that for every plugin you develop and intend to release.

Hi @kmhfygg,
Welcome to the Maxon developers forum and its community, it is great to have you with us!
Getting Started
Before creating your next postings, we would recommend making yourself accustomed with our forum and support procedures. You did not do anything wrong, we point all new users to these rules.
- Forum Overview: Provides a broad overview of the fundamental structure and rules of this forum, such as the purpose of the different sub-forums or the fact that we will ban users who engage in hate speech or harassment.
- Support Procedures: Provides a more in detail overview of how we provide technical support for APIs here. This topic will tell you how to ask good questions and limits of our technical support.
- Forum Features: Provides an overview of the technical features of this forum, such as Markdown markup or file uploads.
It is strongly recommended to read the first two topics carefully, especially the section Support Procedures: Asking Questions.
About your First Question
There's no central plugin registry for C4D plugins, hence you don't need any special licensing for releasing your plugin.
The only important thing you need to take care of is to make sure your plugin uses unique ID, such that it does not collide with other IDs used in cinema (otherwise it will not be loaded or could even cause instabilities when running Cinema4D). For this you can follow steps mentioned by @spedler (thank you, Steve!) to retrieve unique plugin ID for your plugin.
In case we got you wrong and you're actually talking about MRD program, please reach out to us using contact form.
One more thing. The MRD page you've originally posted your question on is reserved for the questions related to the program itself. Hence, your answer was forked in a separate thread.
Please also do not delete your threads! This forum is used by community as a knowledge database to reduce the burden of answering the same questions again and again. However, feel free to edit your posting in case you realized you've disclosed something you didn't mean to disclose (e.g. your email )
Cheers,

@i_mazlov I'm very sorry, my description is not accurate enough. What I really need is a plug-in ID number. Thank you for your reply. I have applied for a new plug-in ID number and am ready to share the plug-in for free. Thank you again. I I’m going to re-edit my post. I can’t find where I can re-edit it. Can you tell me? Thank you very much.
