User Information:
ResEdit Version: R8---------I use ResEdit 1.7. Groups normally don't have a size, it is calculated by the size of the child objects. So the size options in resedit are disabled for groups. But with scrollgroups it is not possible to increase theire size by child objects, because they do like they should and just scroll above the child objects if theire size is bigger than the group size. So it is necessary to set the scrollgroup size by the according size option. At the moment this is only possible by editing the res file, size option should be enabled in resedit for scrollgroups in future versions.....or correct me if I was just too blind to see how to do it

Hi
it seems to be a bug. Thanks for finding
Unfortunately the scroll group is displayed wrong in ResEdit when you set the size in the res file. You can try to live with that or use a small workaround: Place the scroll group in another group and use empty static texts to set the size. See <[URL-REMOVED] group.zip> (2 KB) for an example.
[URL-REMOVED] @maxon: This section contained a non-resolving link which has been removed.

Hi,
unfortunately the given link doesn't work anymore. Is there another example to look at?
